Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981 and a board member of the SSC's Board of Directors since the year 2011, was the founding co-artistic director of Speech of Fire. In her role as the Artistic Director of SSC, she was the company's composer, musician and text coach as well as costume/set/music designer. While she would usually be the head of her group, her first directing role was in SSC King Lear.
