Aisha jamila Hinds is an American actor for more than 10 years. Her credits have included The Shield as well as True Blood. In the years since her debut she has demonstrated her ability to perform in series like Under the Dome, 9-1-1 Detroit and 1-8-7. The first time she was noticed was for her character Anna in the film Assault on Precinct 13. Her first recognition came from her performance in the 2005 biographical movie All the Way. Hind received praise for her performance as Harriet Tubman, in WGN America's historical drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television have renewed the series' third season. Bachchan was a student at architecture when in 1994 she was chosen Miss World. The title helped her get into the model industry. The year 2003 was the time she was offered lucrative jobs with PepsiCo Inc. as well as Vogue magazine. She also signed a contract as a L'Oreal Paris spokesmodel. Bachchan was part of Gurinder Chedha's Bride and Prejudice. This ballet-based musical reimagining of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice is directed by Gurinder. Bachchan brought both her star-power and beauty to her most acclaimed English film. She came back to Bollywood to star in the success Dhoom: 2 (2006) prior to releasing Provoked The Story of Provoked True Story (2006) in English. Abhishek Bachchan was married in April of 2007.
