Aisha jamila Hinds is an American actor for more than 10 years. Her credits have included The Shield as well as True Blood. In the years since her debut she has demonstrated her ability to perform in series like Under the Dome, 9-1-1 Detroit and 1-8-7. The first time she was noticed was for her character Anna in the film Assault on Precinct 13. Her first recognition came from her performance in the 2005 biographical movie All the Way. Hind received praise for her performance as Harriet Tubman, in WGN America's historical drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television have renewed the series' third season. Hind recently wrapped up shooting on the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters that will release at the beginning of 2019. Her father Krishnaraj died in March 2017 after a long career as a scientist with the Indian Army. Vrinda, her mother is a domestic worker. She has an older brother Aditya Rai who works as an engineer for the Merchant Navy. Her younger brother Aditya Rai was the producer of Dil Ka Rishta and wrote the song with Bachchan. Arya Vidya Mandir, Mumbai was where her parents moved. Jai Hind College in Mumbai was where she completed her intermediate schooling for an entire year. She then was admitted to D.G. Ruparel College, Matunga. She scored 90% in her H.S.C. exams. As a teenager she spent five years studying classical music as well as dancing. Her favourite topic was zoology. Bachchan was a student at architecture when in 1994 she was chosen Miss World. The title helped her get into the model industry. The year 2003 was the time she was offered lucrative jobs with PepsiCo Inc. as well as Vogue magazine. She also signed a contract as a L'Oreal Paris spokesmodel. The first two films in her professional career included Aur Pyaar ho Gaya and Iruvar. Bachchan turned into the face of New Bollywood with these films which defied the basic Bollywood form of structure. Bachchan became the new queen of Bollywood following her performance as the title character in Devdas 2002, one the most famous Bollywood film. It also was the first Bollywood film to be screened at the Cannes Film Festival. Chokher bali (2003) was her next film she starred in that earned her the praise of her peers. It is a thriller based on Rabindranath tagore's novel. She became the very first Indian actress to serve on the jury of Cannes Film Festival that same year. Bachchan was part of Gurinder Chedha's Bride and Prejudice. This ballet-based musical reimagining of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice is directed by Gurinder. Bachchan brought both her star-power and beauty to her most acclaimed English film. She came back to Bollywood to star in the success Dhoom: 2 (2006) prior to releasing Provoked The Story of Provoked True Story (2006) in English. Abhishek Bachchan was married in April of 2007. He's an Bollywood star and regular co-star.
