Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina is a Kyrgyzstani-Peruvian Muay thai fighter, mixed martial artist, and competing within the UFC flyweight division. She is older than her fellow UFC fighter and the former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko began her career as an Muay Thai boxer. She debuted in 2003 during the IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko was the winner at the tournament and defeated Suzane Milliner in a unanimous vote. Antonina then won a Silver Medal in 2007, a Bronze Medal in 2008, a gold medal in the year 2011, and the IFMA 2016 Amateure Muay Tha World Champion. Antonia started her professional career in 2003. She took home the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championships 2012 and The Lion Fight Lightweight World Championships 2016 and both the WMC World Championships and Phoenix FC World Championships 2016. Antonina took on Isa Tidblad Kskikangas last time at the Phoenix Fighting Championship. The fight was won by unanimity. Antonina Schevchenko began her professional MMA professional career back in the year 2002 after the victory over Anara Baanova in the KFK Cup in Kyrgystan. She took the fight by TKO in round two and her two subsequent matches were held in WXF X-Impact World Championships. Shevchenko was a dedicated kickboxer as she took a prolonged absence of MMA. She returned to fight in 2017 and faced Anissa Hasdaoui. Shevchenko won against Anissa in a unanimously-decided match, and then she defeated Valerie Domergue in Phoenix FC 4. She left in 2018 the tournament and started competing in Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko wrestled Jaimelene Nievera as part of Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series. Antonina knocked out Nievera using her striking skills that were superior in the final clinch by using knees on the body. Antonina Shevchenko was given a UFC contract following this win. Antonina Shychenko debuted for the UFC at the Heavy Hitters event of TUF finals, where she faced Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko lost to Roxanne Modafferi via split decision after she won her first bout. Antonina has recovered from her loss, defeating Lucie Pudilova in the UFC on ESPN Covington against Lawler by a rear-naked choke submission. The result earned her the bonus of a fight-of-the night. Shevchenko was a 1-2 winner in her next 3-fights she lost to Ariane Lipski and falling to Katlyn Chookagian, and Andrea Lee.
